At the feet of the Rabbi.

(Northern Tip of Galilee, Israel 2009)

Rabbi Yeshua.

Why do you come near to me each and every day?

Why do you speak to me?

Why do you lead me, ever so patiently?

I do not merit your nearness.

I do not deserve your voice.

And I do not follow well.

But you continue to meet me anyway.

And I accept your grace with open arms, knowing it is the only thing my small self can do.

Thank you for sitting with me through this storm.

Thank you for choosing me, for calling me your own, for loving me well.

Today, I stand humbled and grateful within the shelter of your grace.

your words brought a hurt from down deep.. thanks for writing for God, but sharing it with me and others.
